Colombia official name is the republic of
Colombia. its located in the northwest of south America with territories
in central America, Colombia shares a border to the northwest with panama
in the east with Venezuela and Brazil and in the south with Ecuador and Peru.
Colombia also share maritime limits with Costa
Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras ,Jamaica , Haiti and the Dominican republic The territory of what is now Colombia was originally inhabited by
Indians and some of them are still here in Santa Marta sierra Nevada. Colombia has
thirty-two departments.
The climate of Colombia is
characterized for being tropical presenting six variated natural regions and depending on
the altitude, temperature, winds and rainfall. The diversity of climate zones in Colombia is characterized for
having tropical rainforests, savannas, steppes, deserts and mountain
climate.
Colombia is also great in biodiversity
such as animals, plants and are the top one in ranking of the most country with
diversity of birds. Colombia counts with the privilege of animals that are one
of a kind, which means they can’t be found anywhere else. In Colombia we can find
the 10% of the species that are in the whole earth, including over 1,900
species of bird, more than in Europe and North America combined,
Colombia is a really great
country to visit, stay and live in it but there is a specific city in Colombia that
is better than any other city in the world which is Barranquilla
Barranquilla is characterized for
being one of the happiest cites in the world since in Barranquilla occurs the
awesome carnival that last one week. One week of pure happiness emotions, dancing,
parties and joy.
In Barranquilla the mayor Alejandro
char has helped to accomplish many things like supporting the center American games
that had an excellent performance this year. The aperture of this game took place
in the metropolitano stadium with the appearance of our great singer and dancer
called Shakira and our gorgeous, beautifully and special woman crowned with the
title of the most beautifully women in the universe Paulina Vega. And in the closure
event we receive the great and charismatic singer Silvestre Dangond. With a 2-hour
show that let the people with their mouths open.
Finally, my experience living in Barranquilla
and I will like to say that it’s the best city ever with great environment and respectful
people.
My neighborhood it’s a very nice
place that has plenty of big houses and very few buildings there is a store close
to my apartment where people can go to fix their keys and their tools.
It’s a place where the people can
live in very good conditions, there is a lot of friendly people you can meet nearby
but, in the nights, there is a man that goes with his bike whistling all around
an annoying sound but it’s for a good reason since it helps me to be ware if something
happens around. In my neighborhood there it’s also my father’s company that is pretty
close to my house so that makes him easy to go to work.
I’m new in this neighborhood, I moved
just a year ago, but it is really nice. My mom likes to walk our dog in the
safes streets of my neighborhood she passes like 2 blocks away my house near a
park that its full of dogs and people running in that park there always people
selling mangos and fries, so people can eat something and refresh a little.
So, with all my experience I will
like to say that living in here would be perfect my whole life.
